Lecture Three of the Media and Activism lecture series is now online. This week we conducted a Marxist analysis of media activism, exploring the relevancy of Marxist perspectives on the contemporary media environment. We analysed the 'corporate social responsibility' of Benetton's Institutional Campaigns, the culture jamming of Adbusters and Just Seeds, and, finally, the contemporary music environment.
